'In November, We Remember.'

'Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

May they rest in peace. Amen.'

All of our families look different but we are all part of God’s family and we respect our differences. We are unique and loved.

What an exciting week we have had. The children were invited to attend a multi-sports festival at Staindrop Academy alongside other local schools. They played a multitude of games and even had Mrs Porter in goal for bench ball!

The Owls have also collaborated to create amazing Viking settlements. It is wonderful to see how much the children learned from our visit to Murton Park and their creativity when designing and developing their own settlements.

Another fabulous  toddler session this week with our play based around the theme of fireworks. How exciting- dancing fireworks! Join us next week for our Elmer themed session, linking to anti- bullying week.

As part of our Traditional Tuesday, Larks have been exploring and reciting The Lord's Prayer. Take some time to talk to your child about this special prayer, what it means and why it is important to us.
In English we listened to the traditional fairy tale; Jack and the Beanstalk, and we used our VIPERS questions, drama and oral participation to understand the story in greater depth. Fee fi fo fum!!!
