First Holy Communion

Children who are baptised Roman  Catholics and are in Year 4 or above are invited to take part in the Diocesan Sacramental Programme run in partnership with our Parish.

Holy Communion 2025/26

This year we keep Rosalia, Raph, Margaret, Gabriela and Katey in our prayers as they begin their journey in preparation in making their First Holy Communion. The children have already had their formal enrolment at Mass and have had their first session just this week, following the 'Heart speaks to Heart' programme of study.

 

Holy Communion  2024/2025

Congratulations to Rowan, Reece and Sophia who have all now  made their First Holy Communion. Thankyou to Father Thomas and Mrs McAuley who have shared their journey of preparation, leading up to this very special day and all staff, friends and families from school who were able to join them and celebrate this most special day. God Bless.

May we continue to prayer for Sophia, Reece, Rowan, Florence, Ava and Georgia.

Our link governor Mrs McAuley is happy to help with any further questions you may have and she works alongside Father Thomas to deliver our programme following the 'Heart Speaks to Heart' preparation programme.

Holy Communion 2024

We continue to pray for Enzo and Evelyn who are preparing to make their First Holy Communion in the Summer. Dates for Holy Communion Mass are the 1st and 2nd of June 2024. Further details are also shared on our weekly newsletters.

Our children begin their journey in autumn term by renewing their baptismal promises. The next step in their journey is to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in December. Staff, families and our Parish work closely together to ensure the children are well supported along their Sacramental journey. Congratulations to Alfie, Amber, Edward, Robbie and Tomek who all made their First Holy Communion in Summer 2023.It was such a special day, shared with friends and family both at church and then back at school.
