Swifts had a fantastic day at Beamish on Friday to support their learning and experiences of Victorian Life! They were able to experience the Victorian school, explore typical homes and shops and also transport on the trams.
I wonder how the typical school day compares to today and which, if given a choice our children would prefer? I am sure they have come home and told you all about it!
Mrs Porter said that the class were exceptionally well behaved and that she had also thoroughly enjoyed her day- thankyou Mrs Porter, Miss Holywell and also Miss Herbert for giving up her time to join us today.
