What a treat!!

Our Little Wrens enjoyed their first local adventure and found themselves in Costa this week!!

They enjoyed a baby chino or warm milk with gingerbread men. They were all so well behaved and enjoyed speaking to other customers and staff working hard in the shop. Staff wanted to also give a special mention to Costa staff too, as they said they were 'so lovely and kind towards the children'

What a treat- and thank you Costa staff!

This week in Larks class,  we have been incredibly busy  exploring maps and learning about landmarks in London. The children have loved working collaboratively in our construction area, planning, designing and building London landmarks. Do you recognise any of them? I wonder if they can name some of them to you over the weekend? Miss North is confident that they will be able to and she is so impressed with their creative design skills too. Future architects!

This week, the children have been exploring electric and non electric items. We explored examples of what electricity is, what runs off electricity and how we can classify the differences. We then progressed to creating a simple circuit and explored how to identify a problem or fault within a circuit. We couldn't believe how many options we needed to focus on to solve the problem! We had some very excited children when they solved the circuit problems! Well done, Swifts.
