Another busy week across school.
We have Larks continuing with their Lenten pledges with their community litter pick. They didn't find much litter this time so that is good! It was lovely to have some of our parent helpers join us too- always appreciated. We will continue our termly litter picks as part of our ongoing commitment to being a LiveSimply school.
Owls were getting very creative with their DT making links to their space topic in Science- very impressive Owls. I love how they all look different too- unique designs and ideas!
Owls class have demonstrated some excellent oracy skills within their Literacy, history and RE this week.
The children also explored how magnets are essential in our everyday life and put their knowledge of magnetic fields to the test by creating their own compass! They used their knowledge of the Earth's natural poles and created a temporary magnet using a magnet and a needle. They needed their needle to face north to be successful. They were amazed when their needles turned on their own and pointed in the direction of north! Super use of our knowledge of magnets, Swifts!
