We have had such a busy week again this week- full of celebration and recognition of the many talents and interests of our children.
On Thursday we had our very first Sports Awards Presentation, led by Miss Callender. We had 14 nominations for the awards, all nominated by pupils, teachers and coaches. It was a fantastic evening and wonderful to see the hall full of proud parents, grandparents and staff!
Well done boys and girls- you all have so many talents in sports and such a wide range of interests too. Fabulous!
Our last session for this term this week for Forest School. We are delighted to be able to offer Forest School next Year for our KS1 pupils too. It is a wonderful local link and the children experience so much from hands on, outdoor adventures!
This week the children learnt about metamorphosis and went pond dipping. We even found a newt! The children were busy working together to make a river and waterfall down the path to the stream. Finlay and Mrs Dominick looked for stick man. “I know let’s find stone man” said Finlay finding stone man and his family, sending them off down the river for a sail. We finished our sessions off with a marshmallow and juice underneath the canopy. “It feels like we are camping” Edie told me excitedly.
