This week has been all about Oliver’s vegetables. On Monday we read the story and wondered what spinach tasted like as lots of us had never tasted it before. This prompted us to write shopping lists on Tuesday, ready for our market stall visit on Wednesday. We took our shopping lists and visited the market to buy our vegetables for the Robins and Wrens Rainbow Salad. It was a bit of a wet day but we managed to buy everything we needed and headed back to school to use our fine motor skills to cut and grate the vegetables for our salad. It was delicious, I think Oliver would have thought so too!

Larks having been learning the lyrics to a song linking to their connected curriculum topic' Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!' They are looking forward to performing song this afternoon as part of our celebration of music from over this term.

We have also been practising cricket skills... focusing on hand and eye coordination in batting, throwing and fielding. Well done.
